FREE hot lunches in Bloxwich during the Autumn
Wed 14 Sep 2022Tough times are ahead and we are all in this together. Would you like to share in a free weekly meal and a chat?
The Church of England is offering a warm welcome, a friendly smile and a free hot meal on the following dates.:- Monday 3rd October at St Thomas Church
- Tuesday 11th October at All Saints Parish Hall
- Friday 21st October at Holy Ascension Church
- Monday 24th October at St Thomas Church
- Tuesday 1st November at All Saints Parish Hall
- Friday 11th November at Holy Ascension Church

Doors open at 12 noon, lunches will be served at 12.30pm.

Early Help – Parenting Support Programme’s
Tue 13 Sep 2022Early Help have the following parenting programmes available to families who are being supported by Children Services (Level 3 and Level 4) open to Early Help Lead Professionals, including Partnership Lead Professionals in Schools, Health, or Social Work Lead professionals.

Walsall College 19+ Courses
Wed 07 Sep 2022Walsall College has a number of short training courses for people aged 19+ who are currently unemployed to help them get back into *work with many coming with a guaranteed job interview!
Our courses are in a variety of areas and take place at either our Hawbush Campus in Leamore or our Pioneer House Campus in Cannock! Take a look below at the list of short courses available:

WS11 0EFOur Hawbush Campus is easily accessible via buses number 31, 32 and X51 from either Walsall town centre or Bloxwich, while our Pioneer House Campus is a short walk from both Cannock train station and bus station. Free car parking is available at our Hawbush Campus, whilst car parking is limited at our Pioneer House Campus.
If you have other commitments that mean you might need to leave the lessons slightly earlier or attend slightly later, you can always discuss that with our tutors before signing up for the course.
*subject to eligibility criteria
**our ‘Introduction to Working in Retail’ course does not have a guaranteed job interview but it does give you a head start when applying for vacancies with McArthurGlen Group
***our ‘Warehousing/Forklift Truck Licence’ course does not come with a guaranteed job interview
