Our School Self-Evaluation

School self-evaluation is an important and valuable collaborative process that involves all levels of leadership in the school.

At its heart, school self evaluation is reflective. It gives teachers the opportunity to take a step back from the daily school life and consider how the systems, policies and practices that they have in place impact upon student progress and the life of the school community. The overall aim is to drive improvment and to ensure high standards are maintained so student outcomes are the best that they can be for the children attending the school.

During the self evaluation process the clear goal is to highlight strengths, identify areas for development, and build on unused skills and abilities. An effective school self evaluation must be reflective, honest and unsparing.
