Improving Leamore Park

Your Views Matter, Share them here: www.walsall.gov.uk/GreeningBloxwich

Background:

Walsall Council has been successful in bidding for 'Towns Fund' - government money designed to improve and regenerate areas that need a boost. £4.5m funding has been secured and earmarked to improve key green spaces in Bloxwich and we want you to have your say on how it is spent.

We are in the early stages developing our ideas for King George V Memorial Playing Fields, Leamore Park and Bloxwich Park, Promenade Gardens and Pat Collins Memorial Garden which aim to make these public green spaces cleaner, greener and safer, benefiting everyone in the community.

Ideas could include the improvement and redevelopment of existing buildings and key features including lighting, seating, sports, games and play facilities, planting, landscaping and the development of nature zones.

For more information visit: www.walsall.gov.uk/GreeningBloxwich and fill in the online questionnaire.

To help us formulate our initial ideas and designs we are now seeking the views of the wider community. Please take the time to respond and give your feedback and ideas regarding the future development of these parks in Bloxwich. Once we have some outline plans we will publish them and seek community views again, before submitting proposals as a formal planning application.

The closing date for responses is 7 May 2022.
