School Council
Our School Council gives pupils a voice and helps them take part in making their school a better place. Representatives from Years 3-6 meet to share ideas, discuss any concerns, and suggest improvements for the whole school community.
At Leamore Primary School, the school council works together by following the ASPIRE goals:
Act Safely,
Share and Care for the Environment,
Promote positive wellbeing and mental health,
show an “I can” attitude,
Respect everyone and the environment,
and Encourage others.
By listening to their classmates and working with staff, the school council helps make sure that pupils’ ideas are heard and that everyone feels valued, supported, and proud of their school.
Each Year, children get elected by their peers from their classrooms. The children who aspire to be a council member have to write and present a speech explaining why they would be a good representativie of their class and for our school.
