Police Request - Anti-Social Behaviour
Thu 20 Oct 2022Good Afternoon,
Attached is a letter and supporting PDF documents to raise awareness regarding ASB. It is general ASB but also has specific references to Mischief fortnight (Halloween and Bonfire night).
Could I ask that they be shared with parent/guardians please on whatever format you use? This will hopefully filter out and have a positive long term effect in particular this time of year.
Thank you again for your support
Regards
Ian

Walsall Bonfire and Fireworks
Mon 17 Oct 2022Walsall Council is inviting visitors to celebrate bonfire season with three traditional community bonfire and fireworks events across the borough.
Events will be taking place in King George V Playing Fields on Friday 4 November, Walsall Arboretum on Saturday 5 November and in Willenhall Memorial Park on Sunday 6 November.
Alongside a traditional bonfire, spectacular fireworks displays set to music will burst across the sky and families can enjoy fun fair rides and food and drink at the family friendly events.
Admission to all of the events is by advance tickets only. No tickets will be available on the gates. Visitors are asked to arrive early to the events to ensure tickets can be scanned and bags can be checked prior to entering the parks.
The council’s bonfire events are very popular with families in and around Walsall. As a result of the pandemic, the last events were held in 2019 and they have been sorely missed.
Advance ticket admission makes the events easier to access on the night and helps to keep our focus on providing a safe, family friendly and fun evening for all. It’s a great opportunity for people to enjoy their local parks and see some truly fantastic firework displays. The 2019 prices have been held and there is also an early bird offer for families who purchase tickets by 21 October.
